Dorothy Mazurowski, age 91, of North Ridgeville passed away Wednesday January 2, 2019 at Southwest General Hospital.
She was born in Cleveland and was a long time resident of North Ridgeville.
Ms. Mazurowski worked as an assembler for GE lamp division for 50 years, retiring in 1999.
She was an animal lover, enjoyed polka dancing, watching the Cleveland Indians, spending time with her family and friends and being active at North Ridgeville Senior Center. She also supported St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital and was a member St. Peter Parish, North Ridgeville.
Survivors include her sister Bertha Marianek of Parma, sister-in-laws Judy Mazur of Bay Village, Pat Wilchek of North Royalton, uncle Leonard (Phobe) Skowron of Berea, nieces Margie Mazur of Middleburgh Heights, Julie (Simon) Martin-Dye of Avon, nephews Steve Mazur of Parma, Bill (Debbie) Marianek of Parma, Kevin (Denise) Mazur of Cleveland, William (Sharon) Mazur of Bay Village and many great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father Alex Mazurowski, mother Bertha Gridi, step father Frank Gridi, brother Alex Mazurowski, Frank Mazur and James Mazurowski and nephew John Mazur.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 9:30 AM until time of prayer service at 10:30 AM at Bogner Family Funeral Home 36625 Center Ridge Road North Ridgeville. 11 AM Mass will follow at St. Peter Church 35777 Center Ridge Road North Ridgeville. Reverend Andrew Hoover will be the celebrant. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Cleveland.
